Lump near chams vent help appreciated

Hello cham fam i have a year and a half year old Jackson chameleon that has had this from what it looks some sort of lump inside his bottom more gradually on his left side im not sure what it is is it a stuck sperm plug? Could it be an infection? Im not sure what it could be i took him to a vet several months ago when I noticed it and the vet said nothing about it. All she said was that i have a healthy growing chameleon but that was about 5 months ago id thought it would be a passing sperm plug but from the looks of it it doesn’t look like it passing i give him 30 min warm water shower every night hoping to see something come out but nothing. I really need advice it looks like he could be in pain and i dont want this poor animal to he suffering have anyone experienced this at all could someone be kind enough to share some wisdom with this beginner chameleon owner it hurts me to see him like this

Looks like an abscess caused by an infection. It's not a sperm plug. He needs to see a vet as soon as possible.

Also, consider a new vet.

Ok so vet visit went well he did have and infection and it was crystallized puss in there doc made a small Incision on the lump and cleaned it. gave be some vitamins and clindamycin to help with his infection and some antibiotics to help clean and keep clean he's scheduled to go in next Friday to see hows it going but overall glad i was able to help him thanks cham fam.

Thanks for the blessings here are some pics of what it looks like now. it looks a little brutal but i guess it wasn’t a huge cut to the point where it needed to be stitched

It's a pretty tiny incision, all things considered. Doctors will frequently not fully close infected wounds to allow them to drain and essentially "air out". If they're completely sealed, all of that waste matter and bacteria builds up and has nowhere to go, and you can end up get another abscess. It's a tad off topic, but that's why cat bites have such a high rate of infection: it's a tiny needle point incision that seals up almost right away, trapping the bacteria inside.

Good evening cham fam! Little foot is doing a speedy recovery from the looks of it. His Incision is looking pretty well . just took em in for a check up yesterday and doc said he’s doing fine and should be on a way back to a good recovery as time passes with the help of his antibiotics.
