I woke up today to find my Blue bottle flies hatching. Guess what all my scaled kids are having for lunch today

I haven't tried blue bottle flies, but I let a lot of the BSFL hatch in their container and then release the flies into Spikes enclosure and he loves the flies lol

I use both but tend to like bottles more because they are more active bouncing and walking around than BSL.

Interesting. I must get crazy BSFL because ours go crazy at the top trying to get to the lights lol

But they do have a tendency to settle on the leaves a lot. But that's when Spike strikes

Where do you get your blue bottles? I’ve always wanted to give my girl some but I have no idea where they are sold

Oh wait never mind it’s fruit flys that dubia.com has not blue bottle flys. I think joshsfrogs has them though

Joshsfrogs.com usually has blue bottle and occasionally green bottle fly larvae.
