Anybody ever use these as feeders? I may have a buddy who will be giving me a ton for free. Any tips? Temps, humidty, substrate? IM not too concerned with the breeding. I think he may be giving me like 100+ adults and a ton of babies, so I may be using them just as a treat instead of superworms and crickets for the chameleon. Im just concerned with them climbing the glass in the holding tank

Best way to go with the climbing is smear a layer about an inch thick of Vaseline around the top. This will keep them from climbing out and theyl just fall back in.

As for feeding, these guys are a good occasional treat but you have to keep in mind they ate quite large and there's a looooot of exoskeleton and shell to digest. Keep an eye out for properly sized, just molted hissers.

Keeping them is extremely easy. They do great on fruits and veggies and if you're not super concerned with breeding then keeping them at room temp is fine, but around the upper 80s, lower 90s is ideal. They like it warm to be in the baby mood.
