My son says: yu-gi-oh is a trading game (cards like the one above). 2 players fight each other using different attack cards - the loser is the first one to have their Life Points drop to zero.

hahaha well... my daughter has inflicted major attack damage to her opponent by flinging the actual card at her brothers head like a ninja star. sigh.

Lol....I'm an adult and I still have my cards. Used to get to school super early and duel with my friends....good times, good times. I haven't used them in a few years, but I took a look at my decks today and stumbled upon that little guy

Oh boy, you wanna go Pokémon? I've got massive storage tubs full of cards somewhere in the basement, a stack of gameboy color games, and every game available for the DS. I still play the gamesNo shame in it @K_Wolf! It's a fun card - I wish I had one (maybe I'll check amazon). It will be a race to see who gets a new cham faster... I might steal your name
I was not into yu-gi-oh cards (cartoon, yes haha) but don't even get me started on Pokemon. That's my jam
and watch out I snag chams pretty randomly I could strike at any time and claim that name ;P

You can come play atari with Joel and IWell, just when I thought the forum would be one place safe from freakin' Pokemon..... To this old man, Pokemon is nothing more than teaching kids it's OK to trap, enslave and make your captured animals fight...

Pokemon is something my 14 year old plays, and only the silly "Pokemon Go" version on his phone. My older kids outgrew it years ago. Now, I'm perfectly cool and support the collection of and keeping of these cards, as I sure know I wish I had kept my old Atari and old video games from the 80's!
