Male chameleon displaying odd behavior?

I have a male veiled chameleon, he's about eight months. He has tarsal spurs and the bulge under his tail. He's displaying some odd colors and behavior since this morning. He keeps wanting to get down from his tree and onto the ground, which I know is a females display to lay eggs. And I don't know if these pictures are a sigh that he/she is gravid or what. I'm really confused. Here are the pictures

take better pics of the spurs i don't think that is a male though you need to get a laying bin asap just in case but i do not think that is a male their spurs or more defined.

Just put the laybin in the enclosure with her, give her lots of privacy and she'll lay when she's ready

She's free range 24/7?

Yeah she is. I've never had any problems with her being free range, and she absolutely hates her cage. Whenever she's in she's all black and just not happy. I have everything a free range setup needs.
As for your second question, I'm sorry I didn't see it. She's had that ever since I got her from the store and I've take precautions to make sure it doesn't progress any farther. I've taken her to the vet and she told me what to do. The mpd isn't progressing anymore and she's walking and eating and standing on branches just fine. I have a uvb bulb and a heat bulb on her twelve hours a day and I dust the crickets with ReptiCalcium D3 powder every time she's fed

I think it's a male, if he's on the ground, he could be hunting for lost crickets that you dropped in the cage or something, when I started putting crickets in the cage I saw he was at the lower part a lot more, and if he didn't catch the cricket he got really mad (really dark colors) while he was climbing up the cage. Maybe that's what's happening

D3 can build up in their system and become toxic.
Feeders should be dusted with Calcium without D3 every feeding
Calcium with D3 and a multivitamin should be used 2x a month. Alternate weeks.
Uvb bulbs also need to be replaced every 6 months as they quit putting out uvb rays.
