Hi guys I'm pretty new to Panther chameleons and have had my male and female for over 3 months now...

They have been eating, poohing mad shedding well and I have upgraded their enclosure....

I have throughout my time with them worried about how they are doing and if I'm looking after them right?

Skittles my male pure abilobes eye would shut most of the time after his third shed... However he continued to eat drink pooh and shed soil observed home with much worry....

My female pure ambilobe called rainbow also did not grow much and only shed twice in front of me and remained really small...

Both where unrelated and bought 1 week apart however they have moved into their new enclosures and while away both have shed again...

Since the shed skittles my male seems to have two beautiful fully opened eyes and no longer closes one, on top of that his colours have come from no where I am truly amazed !!

Rainbow my female is running around happy as Larry and has actaully sprouted and is not far behind skittles in size she is shedding today...

Please have a look at them both and let me know what you think... I am so proud of them both and would love to see first time colours from of anyone else's little guys, this is truely a very exciting time to me :)

Thanks for reading...

Colin

Scout

My phone has been playing up a little both pics are slightly brighter...

Wow tiger is amazing looks beautiful...

:)
I would probably have enhanced the photo personally if it were me. Phones never get the true colors down. I was trying to get a picture of mine in a beautiful vibrant green state but every time I snapped a photo... It looked all dull. Like baby vomit. Not at all what I was actually seeing. Or maybe it was just one of those " what color is the dress?" moments. Lol

It seems "Skittles" is a pretty common name for Chameleons... My kids named our's Skittles too! (y)

Nice pictures... Thanks for sharing. Here's a recent picture of our little guy too.

Soooo beautiful! I'm not quite experienced enough to comfortably adopt a panther Cham into my family yet. But they are by far my most favorite Cham. Maybe after a couple years and some experience. I don't like to make hasty decisions with an animals life at my hands.

To be honest it's my first time and mine are doing really well there is plenty of information on the Internet to be able to look after them...

I love mine and the key thing is to leave them well alone accept for cleaning and feeding and after a while they become comfortable with you entering their enclosure and then it becomes a delight to have them :)

Nice chams I have a pure amibilobe also here's a pic of magoo he's about 9 months old
