I have the yard fully stocked, front and back and finding mantis everywhere. Their really good at blending in, and you really have to have a eye, for finding them.

Sure I have about 300 captive, from adult females laying there third ooths, to newly hatched.Got anymore steve? LOL I still have the one, and it's growing. About 1.5" long now and is green now.
Yes, I seed my yard/neighborhood with Chinese mantid. But also have native Stagmomantis californica mantid. I see the Stagmomantis mostly in the fall, near the end of their life cycle. But goal is to raise the Chinese year long indoors as a food item for my larger chameleons.Have you got Chinese Mantises? That's what is found in our part of Central California.
