Mealworms

Hi, I have a container of mealworms that I rarely use (as found out after buying they're not great for chams to digest so I just give the occasional one as a treat). Some have turned into brown beetles & one beetle has white wings. Does anyone know if I can feed these to my chameleon? I don't know what to do with them!

Chameleons often won't eat the beetles, although my Jackson used to love the newly emerged ones that still had white wings. As far as mealworms are concerned, the hard outer layer (chitin) is hard for them to digest, but I have found that the newly moulted white ones are nice and soft and easier to digest.
