mealworms?

They are still fattier than superworms, but there is less chitin in the case of post-molting. It really depends on if the chameleon needs fattening up or not.

After a meal worm sheds, can you feed more than you would if they didn't shed?

Yes. Hopefully you were gutloading prior to the shed. They dont stay soft long.

Syn, are you sure? I was of the understanding mealworms and supers are both very fatty, not much difference between them in that regard.

Just saying it as a good thing. I think I should stop posting after 10pm.

I AGREE WITH SANDRA!!?

Hey sandra, i've also seen a few "bug nutrition tables" and was wondering if you could share some links of a few you've found.

I just like comparing different sources of info. Thanks :D

When a mealworm shedds they become softer and easier for the cham to digest ive also noticed that chams seem to prefer them over normal mealworms ive seen some chams go as far as pick just shedded out from feeding bowls

Mine does that too! I dont know if it is the white colour, or if he really detects and remembers a difference in taste or texture.

He gets mealworms every week, and its not a problem for his digestion BTW
