Yep! I have never used those two words in the same sentence. I have always hated spiders but these little girls don't look like the horrid things that live in my shed! The males look more 'spidery'!You just used the word cute and spider in the same sentence. You may want to get checked for levels of insanity Best of luck with your new creepy crawlie!
Lol, I need to get used to this one first! Not sure I could do the babies. Someone on Facebook had nearly 200 babies in one clutch! I need to move her into a bigger home today. No idea how I'm going to do that!Lol, that's exactly what my partner remarked on, who has witnessed me in tears many times when I've been anyway near a spider or even a photo of a spider!
But these are just so sweet, especially when they use their little feety things to clean their eyes.
If mine hurry up and grow and I get a male maybe we can pair them up?
Phiddipus are so diificult to find so you were lucky with Ethel,
She's around 1cm, maybe a bit more.Females cam live a lot longer than males! How long/big is it?
All 8 of them! an eye foe each leg! Thankfully only the 2 big ones are clearly visible."I spy with my beady little eyes..."
She is compared to a tarantula, but to someone like me who doesn't 'do' spiders at all she is quite big! Her cute face is tiny, so as long as I focus on the front end it's all good! I fell in live with their cute faces. I've come so far in the past 8 years! When I got my first cham back in 2008 I couldn't even hold a tub of locusts or crickets and now I have a pet spider! She's tiny!
