Meet Loki

Hello everyone. My wife and I just picked up our first Ambilobe Panther from a local breeder last night and I wanted to share a couple pictures of our new baby Loki. He's three months old, about 5" long, and is already starting to show some beautiful colors. He seems to be settling in to his new home really well and is already eating like a champ after the move. So without further ado here's some pics of Loki:

Not the best picture but here he is riding in the critter carrier that we brought him home in.

Here I am holding the little guy when we finally got him home.

I also wanted to give a big thank you to everyone on this forum. I've been meeting some cool forum members and learning a lot from everyone on here for the last few months and even built my first cage with some ideas I picked up on here (https://www.chameleonforums.com/my-first-cage-build-84441/). I used to have a Jackson's back before I went in to the military (~11 years ago) and have always wanted to get another one ever since I got out but never had the space and money until now. My wife and I are thrilled to have added Loki to our family.:D

Welcome to the forums and chameleon ownership! Did you get him from Kammerflage in California?

Thanks and no, I got him from Chameleons101.com. I had checked out Kammerflage's site and they had some beautiful chams but they're a few hundred miles away from me in SoCal. I was referred to Eric with Chameleons 101 by a fellow forum member and turns out they were only about twenty minutes from my house so we were able to just drive over and get him instead of paying for the shipping and worrying about how the baby would cope. Eric's a really nice guy with reasonable prices ($100+ cheaper than some of the online breeders I've seen not including the extra shipping) and it was cool being able to see the parents and all of the other chams that he had.

Everyone is naming their Cham Loki I don't get it!!!

Ah man and I thought I was being original... My wife and I named all of our pets from different mythologies and have dogs named Freyja and Apollo, a cat named Artemis, and now Loki. Loki was a mischeivious, shape-shifting deity so I thought it would work well for our new cham but I think a lot of people might have started using the name once the Thor and the Avengers movie came out lol.
