Hello All,
I found out in August my Melleri Chameleon Gregory is a girl and has eggs. I have had her for 4 years now.
I took her to the vet and got xrays when she started showing signs of restlessness. I palpated and felt eggs and got it confirmed by xray she is indeed a girl!
My questions now.......
Anyone have experience with Melleri Chameleons.....
1. Dystocia (egg-binding)
2. Oviposition
* Gregory has had eggs since August and I read on Melleridiscovery that gestation is around 90 days. She hasn't made the attempt to lay them, still eats and looks healthy.
Going to take her back to the vet for another xray. i can still feel the eggs, so no reabsorption.
Any information from experienced melleri keepers would be very much appreciated!!!!!
Happy Holidays!
