Finaly I can post Melo's pic and the pic of his terittory. I will give the details again. Melo is about 5 - 6 months old. I raise bonsai, so I have a 1000Watt full spectrum bulb. Melo has free roams freely through out the whole bonsai territory. He only ran away once, lol, because i removed his favirate bush. Now that its back in its place he has never run away again. I feed him crickets, horn worms, wax worms, and phinex worms. I spray his whole area down twice a day. im growing vegatables and flowers, so the seedling trays are in his area temperaraly. I have a water fall, wich he ignores.

my questin once posted on this forum was, " would milar stress my vailed?' I tryed to post pictures but , images were too big i now re sized them and am posting. Melo is fine, hes eating well, poopoing well, he sheded about ywo months ago. So hopfully he will shed soon. Feel free to give me any opinions. Oh, Melo has his pissy days and his good days.

The mylar may freak him out if he can see his reflection, i considered mylar to seal off one side of my enclosure to up my humidity levels, but went with a black plastic sheet for this very reason. I think its awesome you let him roll around freestyle like, and bonsai happen to be a favorite of mine as well. Looks good to me!

Is Melo getting enough UVB-his leg looks a bit "bendy" in the picture. Do you have any other pics of him?

melo's territory

Yes I ahve some more pictures. I think he was just grasping wiht all might. I dad just brought him inside, he was out side in a cage.

Please let meknow if he looks like he might not be getting all his vitimins.

To tell you the truth i dont know if hes getting enough UVB. Im asuming he is, ive been told as long as the light is full spectrum he will be fine. but i will look in to it a little further and read the label on the box of the bulb.

heres a couple more pics.

the one where he is on my hand is from about two months ago.

Please let me know if you think, he is missing the uvb, or if it was just becayse of the angle i tool the picture. He hasnt shed in like two months.

I bought him on feb, 17, he molted on march thirdthats the last time.

thanks guys.

The one from 2 months ago looks OK-but current pics suggest possible MBD. Full spectrum does not mean UVB. What are you supplementing with?

If you get a reptisun 10.0 in there, that would give good uvb. It will also work good for the plants. The plants in my cage grow like crazy under this light.
