For everyone living in the greater Milwaukee area (or anyone who wishes to make the drive...):

Our next show is Sunday, August 1st at the Fountain Banquet Hall in Sturtevant, Wisconsin from 10 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. There are lots of things to see and for purchase and if you get thirsty, in true Wisconsin fashion, there is even a bar :D:

- Many species of reptiles and amphibians (and other small pets)
- Feeder insects, flies and other bugs
- Supplies
- Cages (screen, glass, wood and custom made)
- Plants for cages and terrariums

There is a minimal charge at the door. There will also be an auction this year. This is from one of the show promoters: "Because this is our tenth annual show, we have decided to have even more fun than normal. As most of you know, Aaron and I donate a portion of the proceeds every year to a herp organization, in an effort to further the keeping of and learning about reptiles. But we wanted to have some extra fun, so we thought, why not have a small auction to raise some extra money. This year in the wake of the oil spill, and the high number of turtles that have been effected, we will be donating to the Wider Caribbean Sea Turtle Conservation Network. Essentially they train vets, interns, and citizens how to care for wounded and sick sea turtles. And this year has been a very busy year for them.

So if you can help us out at all by making a donation to the auction we would greatly appreciate it. The auction will be held at the end of the day, which should mean we will have plenty of people around at the end of the day. Vendors are not required to stay around, but who knows, maybe someone else will donate an animal you might want. Receipts will be available, as these are charitable donations."

I will be there with several chams for purchase, flies and other cham cages and supplies. Hope to see you there..... PM me if you need any information regarding this show or are looking for something in particular.

Don't forget! I know there are a few of you in this area, or even in the Chicagoland area (it's really not that far). This is really a good show (with a bar) with a lot of cool stuff and there will be a really good auction, too. And did I mention that they have a bar at the show? ;):D

HHhmmmm. That's a very good question. I'm not so much of a brat person myself (didn't grow up around here), so I really couldn't tell you. Yeah, if I eat ANY kind of brat, it would totally be a cheese one. :p
