Mint plant in Chameleon enclosure?

I have a 4 month old vieled chameleon. By chance I brought a mint plant a few days ago and I'm wondering whether this would be safe for the chameleon. Do they eat mint and is it safe for them?

I haven't been able to find much information, but it is not listed as toxic. Still I would like to be sure before I go ahead with it.

Does anyone have any experience with feeding mint or having mint in the enclosure?

Thanks :)

If you do feed them it, since it is an herb, I wouldn't recommend keeping it in his enclosure. Just because if it is toxic in large quantities (which I don't think it is but I can't find solid info on either way) you can control the amount he's eating. However I don't see anything wrong with offering him a few leaves a day. Supposedly pothos and schefflera can be toxic in large quantities but the amount Chameleons eat obviously don't bother them. I would just be on the safe side with the mint ^^

Ur cham must have the best breath smells if he eats the mint leaves....
Unfortunately,Mint leave is a slight diuretic and may have a negative effect on the kidneys if used very frequently.
