Missing claws

Will missing claws grow back? I also have one that is split (well, my cham does). Will this grow out?

Depends how short and how old. Cyrus lost several of his as a youngster from screen climbing and he still has his claws but they are short and not sharp. Are they missing completely? Seems like they were lost quite awhile ago. I will keep an eye on it. Shame they might not grow back.

I always wanted to know do you ever need to trim their claws?

I would not trim chameleon nails they don't need it and they use them to climb with.
