Mist king sounds really good, and I really want one, but I was wondering do you have to assemble it yourself?? I feel like I would ruin it if i had to put it together..
Also Idk the best way to do a drainage system??

I've read a lot of reviews that say water can get into the timing component where you refill the reservoir and they came home to either a flooded cage and a fried pump from going dry, or it just didn't mist at all. The mistking starter kit is just a little more than the monsoon and will outlast it by years.. JMO, it's an amazing product, I have two of them now and I don't know what I'd do without them. They produce extremely fine mist with their awesome nozzles, and the pump is extremely rugged. Like others said, you just can't go wrong.

Ok.
1. You need to get your cham out of the cage for a bit. IF you have a PVC bottom of your screen cage, take it out and drill some holes in the bottom. The shape and size of the drainage holes will depend on what you use as a drip pan. (Seen in 5th pic)
2. you will need to elevate the cage some how if it is on a flat surface (Like a desk, dresser, etc.) Far enough so you can stick the drip pan underneath the cage (Picture 1)
3. A trip to home depot will suffice on the materials for the tubing and the metal tube connecter that is drilled into the side of the pan.
4. With a mist king you have to have a resevoir for the water to be taken from. I got a 2 gallon bucket from home depot, drilled as perfectly as a circle as I could about 2 inches above the bottom of the bucket on the side and put the connecter that leads to the pump in the hole. Make sure it is completely water tight before your first run.
5. Once you have the mist king set up, the water will drain into the holes, into the pan, then it will drain down the tube and into the tub (which I keep in my bottom drawer, which emptying it shouldn't be to often) Simple as that
If you have any questions just ask! I know I didn't go into the most of detail. Hope this helps ;P
Edit: The only tools I used was a drill and a utility knife to make all of the holes. Drilling the hole out of the pan is kinda difficult. All of this maybe at most cost me $20, excluding the mist king. I got the cooking pan at walmart, along with the tub. I got the tubing, bucket, and tubing socket all at home depot. You will get the resevoir connecter along with the mist king starter kit if you get that (not 100% on the others)

Ive used a Mist King for close to a year now,,,and it works perfectly for me!!!
In my glass vivarium i have a shamwow at the bottom to absorb the water and I ring it out 2 to 3 times a day,,,,and just open the doors to regulate humdity!!!
When Guber gets big enough for my 48 inch Reptibreeze,,,,Im either gunna get a grill like the top of a BBQ and a a wash tub(laundry room sink),,,and let the water just go right thru into the sink and into a bucket underneath,,,,,or grab one of the drip trays from LLLReptile!!!
