Misting before or after feeding attempts?

Topic title is self explanatory really, right now I just do w/e is on my mind at that moment but would it be better if i put in crickets first or misted first?

If you free range...it is best to let the chameleon eat first then once all crickets are gone mist.

if you cup feed then feed all thats in there then mist.

Basically feed then mist

I tend to mist first then wipe down the cage bottom - simply because crickets are way too good at drowning in a small drop of water.

Doesn't really matter.
I like to mist first since I think they probably want a drink first thing in the morning and in a natural environment that would be when dew has collected on leaves and the opportunity presents itself.
I wait until the enclosures dry out from the first misting before feeding when I can, especially if the food is going to be dusted. A wet cage washes supplements off crickets pretty quickly.

Its pretty much personal preference and it is based on how and what you feed him. I just do it when i feel like it sometime before sometimes soon after.

Like Brad I generally mist first, for the exact same reason to replicate the natural dew, a little bit after lights come on and the chams have basked for a decnt amount of time. It would be more natural to mist right before the lights came on very carefully not to hit them so they could drink just like in the wild but I think they are fine either way. Then after they get their morning drink I begin feeding. By the time I'm done feeding it's 3 hours later, I have cleaned all the feeder bins in the process of feeding, and it's time to mist again before I go to work. I hand feed 13 adult chams depending on if I feel like it, which I usually do, 3 juvi's less than 6 months and the 4 pygmies that will actually do it. So it takes me awhile to feed them all but I am still infatuated with their projectile tongues and attempting to get decent photos of them shooting/eating so I don't see it as a chore. It's actually more relaxing than my morning cigarette break.

I misted shortly after i made this thread and i just looked in there and apparently the last cricket from earlier drowned himself lol.
