Misting in high humidity?

Hey fellow keepers, I just got a jackson cham and he seems really great. He seems to eat often and knows where to drink water from. But I live in the bay area in cali and there seems to be a high humidity about 50% to 60% with out any misting. I was planning on getting a humidifier but I have read that high humidity can cause some respiratory problems so I was wondering if it would be a bad idea to continue misting 3 times a day?

Thanks man! That video was extremely informative and I have a better understanding of how supplements should be given from that care sheet.
