Mistking Starter pump distance limitations?

So I am planning out a new cage for our veiled, and I am trying to make more room in the stand so I can keep feeders and supplies in there. SO my thought is having the water reservoir for the misting system remote. My RODI system is in the basement with my water storage for my reef tank. So I am thinking if there is really no distance limitation on the misting pump to put the reservoir and pump down there. That way I only need my drainage container in the stand.
