Moisture from fruit and veg etc

My veiled loves his fruit and veg. Will he be getting alot of moisture from this? I mean, I mist him 2-3 times a day and he has the dripper on for 10 mins but he hardly drinks anything. I know there not big drinkers and he also seems well hydrated + if he wasn't he'd be drinking loads right?

I was just reading a similar question but regarding small chams (babies) not drinking, Ryan recommended examining your chams urates. If he is well hydrated, it will be the good white color. If they aren't then they will turn more towards the brown or orange color.

Hope that helps...

Yeah. >> Any one else know?

What OPI mentioned was spot on. Yes hydration is taken from the veggies, fruit and the feeders. They drink but not always when you are looking. I assume the more water they get in veggies the less they have to drink or are less compelled to drink.

The easiest way to tell is to look at the urate . If it is white the Chameleon is hydrated. If it is yellow/orange or brownish you have a possible hydration problem.
