Good morning friends!!

Sorry I haven't been on. Work has me very busy and my sister just gave birth a couple days ago so I've been in and out of the hospital and not sleeping too much. I just got home from the gym and I decided to handle Reptar for a little. I gave him a butterworm while he was on my lap. I thought this was pretty cool. Check it out :)

Hey buddy! Yes I am actually so it's pretty cool. Thank you, I'm happy to see that Reptar is trusting me more and more by the day. Makes me even happier haha :)
 
So glad you guys are liking the videos of Reptar. I'm doing them to share some experiences with everyone and to keep them as memories
 
How did you get him used to you? How did you get him out of the cage? How long do I wait until I first attempt to handle my girl?

I have no idea!! The first day I got him, I took off the lid of his container and he just quickly crawled onto my hand. I gave him his space for 4 days without handling him or anything and then I began feeding him on his 4th day. I've hand fed him several times so that's one way you could gain their trust and sometimes when I take him out to handle him, I just let him climb on my arms, shirt, head, etc. You get him out of the cage slowly with 1 hand. Pick him up gently. He will force himself to stay in the cage but it happens. Once he/she is out, they will want to climb to give them options like your arms and keep making pathways with your arms like one arm over the other. Wait about a week to a week and a half before you begin to handle your chameleon. Don't handle too much remember.

You a lucky man.....I don't really want to estimate numbers but you done better than at least 50% of new Veiled owners without even trying lol. Seriously good job dude :)

Nice snag by Reptar!! (talking about the butterworm, not your junk!) :D Great vid - I swear your enthusiasm is rubbing off on Reptar; getting a Cham out of their cage for hand feeding is half the battle!! Keep it up Grassy!! ;)
