Hello!
My guy has been sitting periodically with his mouth open. I don't hear any crackling and I don't see any extra saliva. His tongue looks like it's in good shape and his humidity and temperature are at appropriate levels. Whenever my Mist King goes off, or I get close to inspect, he closes his mouth. He is a 10 month old designer panther chameleon. His main diet are gut-loaded crickets dusted with calcium everyday, and calcium with D3 once a month. I give him green hornworms, Mega worms, and butter worms as treats every so often. We live in CT, but the temperatures inside my apt are not extreme. A comfortable 74 degrees F. He lives in a screened in reptibreeze terrarium and has lots of foliage. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Sometime they do this to cool off . Have you noticed if it's at basking spot ?

I'm sure someone will chime in that's much more experience then I .

This is a repeat thread...Presto has another one that has activity on it. I've seen that a lot lately where people are posting the same question twice or more, maybe thinking their fist one didn't post or something.
