My Cham seems unwell post egg laying :(

Hi I have a panther Cham just over a year or so old.

About a week ago she laid 29 eggs after being pregnant for 30 days. Everything seemed fine.

She looked thin after and I left plenty of food dusted with calcium on it, sprayed her loads and increased the auto misting and fogging all week.

She was looking ok, all peachey coloured again and well.

Past few days she remained very dark all the time, and today she's doing some small jerky head movements even at rest. It's a tiny bit like the male panther does before he's about to mate but not quite as strong.

Any advice? Worried about her.

I am sorry to hear about your girl. Is she eating? If she were mine I'd take her to the vets to find out what's going on.

Thanks, she's perked up a little but will get her in ASAP if there's no change tomorrow.

Do you, or are you keeping a male panther as well? If she can see a male near by the dark color would be stay away colors. I've had females with retained sperm act similarily shortly after laying a clutch. If no male present, There might be something else in visual sight bugging her.
