My chameleon is always purple

I was wondering how to get my chameleon back to her normal self I know her being purple means she's scared stressed or being territorial but how do I get her to get used to me my mom and I put blankets around her cage and she seems to be fine but I want her to get used to me

Do you have a pic of her different colour? How old is she? Maybe shes showing her receptive colours? Is hard to know without picture & better description. If shes of teenager age then will be going through the usual yemen hormones "they can throw mega tantrums" lol!

Sometimes i think the blue spots can look purple-ish in some lighting So thinking maybe this? Then again im assuming is a yemen from profile pic lol.

Aww pretty girly! If by purple you mean darker patches? Shes looks fine, wait till she grows & has real yemen hissy fits lol!. But from pics she just looks shy, personally id hand feed her. Definitely add in mix of offers a few waxworms, though fatty nice lil treat for her she will love you for lol, takes time to build up trust & confidence shes still young lass patience is key.

I can get mine from local stores in my area & online, i tend to feed a wide range of feeders my boy will literally leave viv when sees we are holding something but he also does enjoy stalking locusts lol.

Just over a year. I got him on my birthday, last year, which was 4/1. And this year, I convinced my hubby that Echo needs a girlfriend from @ZacharyLeesWife . #ROADTRIP!!!
