I recently got a female veiled chameleon at my local petsmart. She has an 18by 18by 24 reptibreeze enclosure. She has a small critter keeper, for a lay bin with eco earth inside. She has one live plant called a Dracaena, and 5 fake plants along with climbing branches. I feed her Dubia roaches, and every now and then a freshly molted mealworm. I ordered her wax worms, and hornworms to see if she prefers those. she has a 60 watt house bulb for heat and had a 5.0 that burnt out yesterday, so i need to run by the pet store and pick one up. I dust her food with calcium with d3 about 2 to 3 days a week and calcium every other day that i don't give d3. I have a drip system for her, and mist 3-4 times a day. I made a slurry and gave her just a little bit to keep her energy level up. Any advice is welcome!

Could you post a picture of her? you will only need to use calcium WITH d3 2 times a month along with a multivitamin 2 times a month. all the rest of the feedings should be dusted with calcium WITHOUT d3. what does the slurry contain? have you ever gotten a fecal done for her?

ok ill fix the d3 and calcium issue immediately! The slurry contained dubia roaches and two freshly molted mealies, with some calcium. Would you happen to have an instagram called theveiled?

She looks good to me from the picture but I would highly recommend a fecal just to check and see if parasites are a problem. Another large possibility is that because you got her recently she still may be getting adjusted to her new home. I would just try to monitor her and see if her appetite improves. variety in her diet may also spark her wanting to eat also.but a fecal is extremely necessary in my opinion as it pretty much saved Stark's life.
