My Collection/Cham rooms

I actually got out the camera and took some pics of my collection and my cage setups last week...I've finally got everything and everybody (somewhat) organized. At least until the next batch of babies of course when I'll have to reconfigure yet again

First two shots are of the setup in my screen porch- 7 cages total all running on 1 mistking system (which FYI is the greatest product I've ever bought for my chameleons). The guys out here get indirect sun in the morning and a couple of hours of more direct sun in the late afternoon and it seems to work out just great for them.

The next photos are inside in my cham nursery- 2 cages for baby C. africanus and one egg-laying setup for one of my female panthers. I have all these cages hooked up to an exo-terra monsoon misting system that I reconfigured to work on a mistking timer (works great after some simple modifications!).

Anyways, thought I'd share my setups. More pics to come of some of my chams.

You sets ups look very nice but I just hate seeing chameleon cages sitting so low on the ground. That just must be so unnatural for them. Please do not take offense, it is just my opinion. Also, do you have adults in all those cages?

That's a great looking setup. I would agree with Carol in getting the guys higher if at all possible. Looks great!

Were you able to figure out how to get longer than a 2 minute misting using a timer in ocmbination with the Monsoon system? Whenever mine comes on by timer it defaults to "cycle" and limits my mistings to 2 minutes.

Babies & juvies on the bottom...with the exception of the larger cage on the bottom right. That's one of my male panthers, but he gets free run of the porch more often than not. I have to be space efficient with this many chams. Also, you cant see it in the pics but each cage is separated from its neighbor by a visual barrier (black plastic trashbag) so that none of them can see each other.

A few of my chams: Male Ambilobe, Male Nosey Be (getting to be an old man now...) and a few shots of the larger baby Africanus that I just moved outdoors.

Nice! im doing the appogee/reptariums as well, also doing the shelf system...the repariums are good on shelfs like that with a drain catch underneath. im in the middle of re-doi.g my indoor setup...i will have to share with you my setup since it is so similar

Definitely post pics when you finish- I'd be really interested to see how you do the drain underneath the shelves. Those racks are perfect for reptariums- I have another 48" unit full of empty cages right now that I will eventually be setting up in a similar configuration. Now I just need a bigger house...:D

LOL, that is a constant obstacle with me and these cages...The big ones anyway. The small ones, I could just place a tub or tote underneath. But I have the big 29X29X72" cages as well. I could take one of those metal shelves and move the bottom up a couple feet (just enough to fit a reservoir under), and elevate the reptarium on one of the shelves. But the weight of my live trees alone would bow or break those metal shelves I’m sure. I have the liners, but I don’t like those either because the water just sits in them. And my trees can only drink so much. There great drainage for outside, but this is my dilemma setting up this indoor paradise.
