My dudes first custom cage!

Here's my repurposed Craigslist armoire. Cut the back doors and top off and replaced it with screen. The bottoms is framed out with 1x2's I used metallic greenhouse insulator for the floor layer an an angle. Leading to a 1/2 inch drain. I'm still working on getting the misting system installed. Just moved him in last night. So far he's pissed and wouldn't eat or drink but he went from a 50 gallon aquarium to a 48 inch tall cage. He will be happy in a few days I am sure!

Looks nice!! He is probably going to be a little out of sorts in his new cage. Give him a few days and he will probably start eating.

Thanks! He went in last night. This is my first cage build since I was about 10 years old (25 years old!) His cage sat out for 2 weeks post poly (stupid valley fire burning our other house down) but the positive is I know all the smell was gone! He has finally started moving around this evening. The humidity is a little low but I'll get the mist king installed tomorrow and he should be fine. All in all I am really happy with how it turned out. Seeing as how it was. 1980s piece of terrible oak furniture before!!
