they are very tiny colorful chams
What is Sticky Tongue doing these days? Are they working with chameleons again or just selling mineral.
Is your male still attacking your female when you introduce the two?

well, when there a handful of keepers or less in the US currently keeping this species and you dont want to give a fellow and local keeper/breeder the opportunity to introduce a different male to a different female (mine) for breeding purposes, thats just a shame to me, and extremely selfish, and not helping captive bred populations, especially here in the US.
This was brought up because my male seems to want to mate with my female, and head bobs and gets to her and then for some reason he decides to give up and not finish what he thought he wanted to do in the first place
But, with someone that has 3 different males within 50 miles of me and not willing to help with more then some advice, thats not right, at least to me it isnt. AT ALL.

AT ALL.I've never bred them but do have a pair from Jared's most recent shipment, and had an adult pair from that first group brought in last year by ERJ. Judging by your pic, she seems a bit small/young to breed as it is. Maybe give them a bit more time before and they will both come through. Mine are still getting along fine but the male is definitely more aggressive now.

Sorry, beautiful girl you have there but just have to play devil's advocate here. Considering how rare this species is in the US, how would you work it out if one of the animals transmitted an infection, parasites, etc. to the other person's animal(s)? Especially if it lead to death? Perhaps that's why she doesn't want to risk anyone else's animals coming into contact with hers that are established and have bred? To be honest, I don't think I'd take the risk if I were in her shoes either. just sayin'.... Hopefully your male will come around. Are you keeping them together all the time? What about showing him his reflection and letting him win some combat time before introducing him to the female?

Mine are cb so they dont have any parasites or disease. She doesnt want me over there because shes afraid of theft, or me stealing an animal. I told her I would wear a short sleeve shirt, shorts without pockets and sandals and would even bring her a few cb hoehnelli for free. Plus, shed be with me the whole time, so its not like I would sneak off and go steal some chameleons, and even if I wanted to, where would I put them. I never would do something like that in the first place.
And no, they are for the most part kept in seperate cages unless I put her into his cage to see if he will mate with her. I guess Im just going to wait a few more months and let them grow and mature some more and try again. I have shown the male his reflection a couple of different times and he doesnt react at all.

I have to agree with Kent about possible contamination. Not because your animals are diseased but because any animal should quarrantined for a time to lessen the risk. The whole strip down clothes & search process to avoid theft has me shocked. For someone to think I was going in to a home to swap or steal an animal I can't picture. Was this an actual conversation , or is this just an assumption of what someone is thinking?

This was a conversation we had. I would obviously let her have some of the babies. Idk, just doesnt seem right to me like she wants total control over the bradypodion market here in the US and doesnt care to expand the population of them here, just in it for the money, which I am not. Anyways, isnt my female gorgeous?! lol

In all fairness, I've known Linda for about 17 years or so now. If you knew how many animals, including a colony of parsonii (they captive bred and hatched multiple clutches), that they've had stolen by someone they trusted....it wouldn't seem so unbelievable.
Did you discuss the possibility of meeting halfway and loaning her your female? Some other way to compromise without having to see her place?
