I have been researching for a while on keeping a panther. This is the set up my friend recommended me to get for a baby panther. Do I need anything else? The only thing I have a question about is a heat lamp for night time, winters can be pretty harsh here.

The cart looks empty.
Could you list the products or take a screenshot?
Also, a temp drop at night isnt bad. As long as it doesn't fall below 55-60 Degrees F.

Products:
Exo Terra Compact Fluorescent 13watt 10.0 Bulb
16 x 15 x 20 inch Aluminum screen cage
8 1/2" Aluminum Lamp Fixtures
Infrared temperature gun
T-Rex Thermometer / Humidity Gauge Combo

and obviously, I would be getting my own plants separate. What's your take on the Hibiscus trees/plants? I like them from what I've read so far.

Hibiscus work great, but also use some umbrella plant or ficus.
The "Exo Terra Compact Fluorescent 13watt 10.0 Bulb" is not recommended for UVB bulbs.
The standard is Reptasun 5.0 Linear Tubes.
You can get a cheap 18" or 24" fixture for the bulb at homedepot or Lowes.
For your cage I would recommend a Reptisun 5.0 18" Linear tube.
The compact bulbs are known to cause eye problems and such.
You also need a basking lamp which can go in the 8 1/2" Aluminum Lamp Fixture you are ordering.
Just use a regular 60 Watt incandescent bulb.
