What beautiful pics and an awesome tank! My husband and I had a 46 gal. SW and soft coral tank, but we had a tank crash as well. I shudder to think of the amount of money we spent on fish that died, so instead we decided to sell the tanks and get into scuba diving so we could see everything in their natural environment - that was the best decision we've ever made!!! :D

thanks Michelle! my husband owns a SW aquaria store.... so we have a little bit of the ocean in several rooms in our house!!! :)
scuba diving is amazing, but it scares me,,, i could go for a little snorkeling though! ;)

Scuba diving is the most amazing thing I've ever done. If all goes well, 24 hours from now I'll be about 100' under water, exploring the Spiegel Grove or the Duane down in Key Largo. YouTube the wrecks - they are amazing!

How are the Bibb and Duane doing? I heard they took some damage from recent hurricanes. I haven't been on them in years. I found a very nice serpent star and some stone crabs on one of them the last time I was there.

Beautiful tank! I like the acans and you can have both. :) I have several tanks and lots of chams. The tanks take way more time and money.

Hope thats on the first floor. 8 gallons in a pound, 150gallons, over a half ton in a 3ft area :p

LOL...so true! Then add salt to the water and it weighs even more. Plus the sand and rock in the tank. I have a 225 on the first floor over top of the basement. I have had nightmares of the tank crashing through the floor.

Very nice! I have a measly 45 gallon with a few Discus in it. I had salt water years ago and it is ALOT of work indeed but so beautiful!

I've never dove on the Bibb and the Duane dive was cancelled so I had some nice shallow reef dives. I know that when the Speigel was dropped it landed on it's side, but one of the hurricanes pushed it right side up - that's a favorite wreck to dive as well! This weekend we saw about 5 turtles, a baby shark, a couple of rays and and an eel or two - all in all some great dives. Plus, a damselfish tasted my fist - that was awesome!
