My new bud home today

Went and picked up my new veiled today he seems to be healthy on the outside with the exception of long nails from having no freaggin branches in his cage. I am noticing him gaping though, but he is in shed and its falling off all around his face so i am hoping that is why. Fingers crossed anybody notice this behavior when in shed?

yes, I've noticed mine do that when shedding sometimes. I presume trying to get the old skin off their faces by stretching. Have also seen some unusal body movements during shed.

Ya i am used to the yawning thing but he has had it open for about five minutes straight now

He didnt have a heat lamp at his new home unless the guy just didnt want to give it to me he really wasnt in ideal conditions he on had one sad looking ficus in there and thats it
