My new female panther

Yeah my chameleons do it all the time. So it's really nothing to worry about. But definitely make sure she uses her tongue still too, because if she stops using it, it could be a sign of either a deficiency or a weakness in the muscle or injury. They often take the easy way out if they can... too smart for their own good. Calcium Plus and LoD can be found either on amazon or ebay, or you can buy directly from Repashy. Definitely compare all three prices. Repashy definitely has good prices for their own stuff compared to certain places, so be sure to check them out. I definitely love you that you are taking her in just for a wellness exam. It is good with new acquisitions as long as they aren't wild caught. Especially if you are worried. It's always good in my opinion just to be sure before anything gets too bad. Hoping for the best for you two, keep us updated ^^

Calcium Plus and LoD
This is the right stuff to give her every day, right? Does she need any other suppliments besides this?

I agree, no other supplements would be needed, but I would keep some plain calcium on hand just in case she shows the need of backing off (each chameleon is different after all). If she shows signs of gular edema it shows she is getting to much of the repashy and just switching to a few times a week of that with the rest of the filled in with plain calcium would be fine. Gular edema if caught early is usually easy to fix. It requires stopping the multivitamin for a bit, only using plain calcium for a dusting for a while, and flushing her system with water.

But usually panthers/veileds do well with LoD every day. It's made for montanes' to be able to use it with them multiple times a week. So and with the small amount of D3 an the higher amount of vit A to help balance it out, it works well to use with panther and veiled species every day.

I'm not sure on cammies weight? But she's a good size, cammie does the same on feeding, so I cup feed her now & put a few lose one's in there for her she does get them, but at least with cup feeding I know she's getting enough. Maybe it's a think in there breed? Hopefully your girl will get the same colours to

Just an update.
I called the breeder that I got her from and he told me that she wasn't quite 9 months old. He also said that he has been giving her calcium with D3. Since then I've been giving her the Repashy plus LoD. She has been eating great. She eats crickets, roaches and superworms. She has put on 12 grams in 20 days. She is now officially 9 months old and weights 37 grams. So needless to say she is doing very well. Thanks for everyones help.
