My New Guy Popped Out of His Skin!

I know this sounds silly... But I am so excited. My Sambava Panther that I got a couple weeks back just shed today for the first time that I have seen. I am soooo excited. I was just amazed at how fast it happened. He looked a little light this morning and then a couple hours later then was skin hanging from his plants! I guess this means my lil guy is growing up

Im going to be new to cham owning, getting my first in just a few days. How long does it usually take for a cham to do the whole shedding process and what is the time span in between sheds?

My L'il Monty has been shedding today, but Jacksons do everything so much slower than Veileds and Panthers - so far it's taken 2 days and he still has his face to shed yet!

Shedding

My Panther sheds in about one day maybe slightly longer for the tight spots on him. The first time was the day after he was out in the sun for an hr or so. The second time was shortly after his day of sunning. I have a panther and I bring them outside on weekends for about an hr weather permitting. I thought it was odd that after that first time they both started shedding the next day. I think the sunshine kicks up the good health!

Mine happened so fast that I couldn't even get a picture!! I saw him and all looked normal but just he was making himself look lighter. An hr later I looked in on him and there was skin as thin as white tissue paper hanging from a plant!!! I am new to this... it was my first Chameleon shed... I expected it to be like my Water Dragon... thicker shed skin and take a few days... I had no idea they would just burst out like that!

They do that! Their sheds are WAY thinner than water dragons!!!
