My new Setup!

Sup, This is gonna be my 1st chameleon and im getting a male veiled. I bought today Repti Glo 5.0 UVB bulb , 2 thermometors and 1 hydrometer , a spray bottle for misting , Calcium Dust , 1 Pothos hang down plant for some vines , 1 Shefflera Arboricola , 1 Ficus elastica , 1 Dracaena Fragrans for the plants , also some T-Rex Bio Vines that are felxable and bend , 1 dome clamp lamp with a 75 watt light bulb for basking. I am looking online right now to find a very good sight that has MALE Veiled Chams for around 100-110 with shipping. I am gonna order him on wensday or thursday. Ill have pics up of him and my setup soon to let you guys see him grow up.

If you have any input on my setup or any changes I should make let me know, I want to make sure this little guy has him a nice home. Also if any request on some healthy chams on a online site... Im watching FLchams.com right now only 1 male left atm and dont know when they usually restock. so if any imput let me know thanks guys!

I have never purchased from flchams but know several people who have and have always had very good, healthy chams. I purchased my last one from the Kammers and www.chameleonsonly.com and recieved the healthiest cham I've ever purchased. He was a little under three months old and was very well adjusted and fat. Who has the chams for that price including shipping? If that's at flchams, that's a great buy. I paid about $150 for my last including shipping. This forum will be your Bible as this is your first. I just got a new veiled this week from Lost Lake Chameleons... very satisfied with them and the cham they sent me. I have heard nothing but good about FL chams too.

Vines

I went to the store and bought 3 BIO VINES felxables and put them in my cage. I mainly put them in the top part of the cage to wrap around the taler tree and all around about half way through the cage to the bottom... They do no go all the way to the bottom , prolly about 1 foot from bottom of cage but the plants reach the vines. Do I need to get some more vines to put at the bottom to connect to the middle and top or do you think he will be fine witht he plants? plants are in buckets but fairly big and strong and could support.

Indeed. I got my second chameleon from FLChams, and he's doing great. Still kind of getting used to his enclosure as he's kind of lethargic, but eats like a pig. Arrived in very nice shape and haven't had a problem yet. Truly a good dealer, even though I'm somewhat inexperienced at selecting them.

I still dont know how to add a picture to the post from a digital camera memory card that plugs into my USB drive. It comes up under E drive and i can open it on my comp i just dont know what to click to add the picture
