Not all veileds eat plants. Mine refuses them too. Just make sure your feeders are gutloaded

Some chameleons are just picky. Chameleons usually dont eat plants anyway. I know veileds are known to but not all do dont worry.

Yeah, like @Curlytails said, not all veileds eat plants. You may find as he gets older that you have little v-shaped cuts in your pothos. He may decide to nibble on them at some point.

Out of the three veileds I have 1 eats veggies. The other two want nothing to do with them. No big deal

As indicated above, not all eat veggies. I've been trying to offer them to Lucky for three years without a nibble. No worries, just gut load your buggies with the recommended fruits and veggies.Scroll dow to the Gutload section here if you haven't seen this yet. Good info.

Theyre not really good because it stops calcium being absorbed because of oxylates within the plant.

Dont overdo it too much will cause calcium deficiency. He might like it but its like smoking. Some people like it but it doesnt mean its not going to harm them.

Dont worry. Just keep feeding him gutloaded insects which are dusted and he will be fine. Eating plants is not a necessity for chameleons. Theyre omnivorous but they lean more towards the insectivorous side. Its ok if he never eats the pothos.

Chameleons aren't omnivores they are insectivores, even veileds. Dandelion leaves are very nutritious I wouldn't compare them to smoking. You are partially right about the calcium thing, but chameleons cant absorb most nutrients from vegetation itself. It needs to be broken down in the gut of insects. They seem to only get moisture from eating fruits/vegetables. So the "eating plants" isn't necessary, they still need insects to live.

No need to feed plants its ok. Just feed insects dont overcomplicate. You can vary their diet with different insects.
