hey guys so i recently just got a new baby chameleon i'm going to assume he is 1 week old at least and i've had a chameleon before in the past but never this young and so i wanted to know whats the best way to feed him i know at his age people would offer fruit flies but the cage that i have for him is a gated cage so if i put fruit flies in there the flies would just fly out i also have little crickets as well but when i try to give it to him he doesn't seem interested i don't know if its because he's new since i got him yesterday but i don'

t really know how i could feed him

Actually I'm pretty sure the fruit Flys are flight less

Place half a small orange in his cage near where he basks. Most of the flies will stay on the fruit and he will eat them right off of it. Change the piece of fruit before it starts to mold.

Definitely kask is to mature to be a week. I would guess 4-6 weeks.
