With MBD his bone do break. I would get him to a vet ASAP for treatment so he want suffer.

From your pictures your cham does have broken legs, almost certainly due to MBD. This is VERY VERY serious and life-threatening. You NEED to get your cham to a qualified veterinarian ASAP if you want to save his life. Until you post your habitat descriptions it will be hard to determine WHY he developed MBD, but I would almost guarantee you that this is the problem. He looks exactly like my Hermie during his ordeal. For now PLEASE take away anything that he can climb on (he will only continue to fall and break more bones).

I pm-ed you in response to your pm ... but had not seen this thread or the pictures.
Get the animal to the vet.

only 2 feet.i seen some babies fall 4-5 ft and get back up like nothing ever happened.he looks like he been in a car accident.

I believe the chameleon has MBD and it's gotten to a point of some severity.
he is going to the vet tomorrow and I have linked ReikoChameleon to the husbandry info on the raising Kitty site.

I am so glad that you are taking him to the vet. These picture really bothered me. I can not stand to see any animal in pain. Having broken bones has got to be extremely painful. I am glad to see you doing the right thing for your little guy. Let us know what the vet says and keep us updated. Jann

I'm glad that you are taking him to a vet. Yes, even hermie continued to try to climb... I think that reptiles are very stoic animals and in their world what does "complaining" do for them? nothing. Acting in pain/weak only gets them eaten. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions about hermie ... at one point I had him in three leg casts and one sling for his bones to heal.

that pic kinda bother me too.:(
it would be great if he can be saved and live out the rest of his life.

Hey all thanks all so much for all ur help.... my baby boy is doing terrific it ended up not being any broken bones , it was a case of lack of calcium....he is growing and doing amazing and thanks all for your help at the time i was not aware that you neded to dust your crickets with calcium....thats why i love this site..thanks all..:D

Did you take him to the vet? The vet said he was doing terrific? It takes quite awhile to improve from MBD, longer than a week. Please give us the real scoop.

So...did the vet give your chameleon calcium injections? Liquid calcium? Or are you just giving it calcium powder on its crickets?
