I just recently bought a veiled chameleon and I am having a real tough time coming up with a name that suits him... Anyone have any good ideas?? Thanks!

I like naming mine in sort of series- my panthers are named after teas (Sencha, Matcha) and my Jax are Kenya and Meru (they originate from Mt Kenya to Mt Meru)

Maybe something to do with the latin name or area they come from? Calyptrus if I remember right...Cal? Caly? Calypso? Calvin?

i usually go with japanese words that relate to common items.

Daruma= hammer
danboro= oven...
hachi = 8

I named one of mine Karma after the 1984 Culture Club song "Karma Chameleon". Then I also have Carmen Sandiego after the old video game. I thought it was fitting as Carmen Sandiego was always hiding somewhere in the game and you had to search her out. My third is named Cameron. That was my wife's doing though.
