Wow - what a weekend! It flew by and now it's back to work (Kevin, no comments from the peanut gallery....).

Just wanted to let you all know that just the auction Saturday night generated a whopping $35,000!!! This auction was fantastic, there was great food (for a change) and there was a lot of money flowing..... This all goes to benefit PIJAC and USARK to help the fight against the proposed S373. This does not include the several thousand dollars that the auction generated to benefit the plight of the Chinese Alligator (there were people there with an organization but I'm sorry I didn't get their name(s)).

Even though the show was almost half the size of the regular NARBC show here in October, many of us (myself included) had an excellent show and I wanted to thank everyone that stopped by my booth! :D

Oh, and sorry everyone, while I did have my camera on hand, I was so busy the entire 2 days (including set up both days) that I didn't get a chance to get any pictures!!

I noticed that the show was quite small. it seemed smaller than Wheaton.

I spent a lot of time talking to the Chinese Alligator people. The female they had was just beautiful.

Your booth was way busy so I didnt even get to say hi. so many people were looking at your veiled morph babies. Adorable tiny things!

all I purchased were Hornworms and a hand carved wooden dragon. Got a ton of free crickets given to me. (I didnt take the freebies, they were offered!)

agreed it was smaller than i expected.

Actually, there were way more vendors than Wheaton. True, it was about half the size of the normal NARBC show (and seemed smaller because it was such a big room), but that's what you get when you put the show together on a whim in 2 months. Still, overall I thought it was a good show and a decent selection of things for the size and we still had some of the bigger vendors come in from far away.
