Hey guys,

I'm sure this has been asked 100s of times I tried looking for a thread but couldn't find one.

I've had a custom viv built for my Yemen and was wondering if its safe to put wood from up the field in it? If so what woods are safe? (I know pines to if from the sap but how can I best treat the other woods? Cheers

Almost every branch is acceptable if I'm correct.

The only thing you have to do is debark the wood, and then cook it.

Put it in the oven at 450 for about 5 minutes. That should kill any parasites that are present in the wood.
