I live in Florida so i keep my panther on my screened in lanai that gets afternoon sun. She gets direct sun from 3pm to about 8pm. Should i still use my retisun 5.0 or should i just keep it off til she comes in the house for the winter?

Well the best hours for uvb are between 10 and 2. It diminishes as the day goes on especially toward the evening. How are you keeping your chameleon outside all day? I live in south florida and I know my temps are not that different from yours. I think it is way too hot to leave out all day. Do you have an automatic mister to cool your chameleon off? How old is your chameleon? I periodically bring mine inside ac to cool off. It is just too darn hot out. There is no place to cool off down here even in the shade. I would be very careful and monitor your chameleon closely. As far as the UVB, is it filtered through the Lanai and then filtered again through your cage?

my house faces east to west, my lania is shaded all morning until about 3pm. i live close the the ocean so we do get good sea brezzes. she gets misted every 3 hours of 15 seconds. I have monitored the temps and at its peak it gets around 97degrees.

I would highly recommend keeping a female in the very low 80's with a place to cool down to the mid to low 70's. Keeping her too hot can cause large clutches and clutches to often. Check out this blog.
