Need a product that will control lights- advice?!

I am looking for a product that turns on my UVA/UVB bulb during the day AS WELL AS turning on my night light during the night. Any advice, products you guys use, or ones you wouldn't use?! I've purchased two timing clocks already but they only control one plug at a time.

Is it just easier to use two seperate timing controls?!
S.O.S.

Well, you'll only need one timer, :D since we don't use lights at night, they need complete darkness to sleep, but if it gets below 50 degrees you can use a heat bulb that doesn't use light. You can find these at the local petstore, trying to think of the name.

Its freezing in my house at night so I have a black night heat light to keep him warm. Is that ok? It keeps his temp around 60-65, without it, it would deff be below 50 degrees. Thats the only reason I need a dual-control light thing!

Thanks!

So its OK to use the night lamp? I'm so new at this and I did all of my research but im always second guessing myself! haha. If it is ok- have you ever used a product that controls more than one light on opposite schedules?! Thanks so much again!

They make day/night multi-outlet timers. Your other option would be a controller if you want more complex lighting schemes.

here is an explanation from Ferritinmyshoes(one of our vets) in frequently asked questions about lighting at night
Q: Should I use a night light?
A: Chameleons have a parietal (third) eye, which exists as a photoreceptive scale on the top of their head. This senses light in the environment and helps regulate basking and activity even when your chameleon’s eyes are closed. Light at night can still disturb them while their eyes are closed because of this. So the blue or red night lights available are not recommended for this reason. A temperature drop at night is normal and good for metabolism so unless your ambient temperatures are less than 60 degrees you do not need supplemental heat at night. Better options for night heating are ceramic heat emitters (no light) or space heaters.

lighting

In regards to the lighting that karmachameleon1337 was talking about.it is called a heat emitter. But like she said as long as theres no light it will be fine

I just use a power strip w timer from Home Depot was super cheap and works great. And I agree w previous post about no night light. If your house is colder than 60 degrees the ceramic heat emitter is a better choice.
