I need help identifying these roaches. they can climb plastic if forced to. I found them in with my cricket bin this morning. At first, I thought 2 of my lobster roaches got out and decided to play with the crickets. Well, they are still all accounted for. They are in a sealed container, inside a closet that ha a door seal on the bottom. My bedroom also has a door seal. They would have had to get through both areas and then find the cricket bin in the bathroom :) Plus there are none missing

Pics attached. Help? :p

well, they were faster than snot, so I put them in the fridge for 5 minutes, and offered the smaller one to norman. He wanted it realllly badly i guess cause he took it out of my hand after crawling on my arm. He chewed it up and swallowed it. I twas gut loaded with cricket crack and mustard greens, same as the crickets get.

In any case, I think im getting rid of the lobster roaches. They are too fast, and I have a sneaking suspicion that they did come from my colony some how, which scares me :p There are no longer 20 in there, there are 16. two looked like they were eaten a bit and died, and two are missing. WTF

The picture looks like dubia roaches. I get 6 or 8 thousand crickets from Ghann every other week and have NEVER gotten a roach in with them. I guess anything is possible, but I swear by Ghann's.

I have bought dubia roaches off this forum (thanks again Brian) and now breed them as the animals love them and they are easy to breed and maintain. Just feed them off to your chams. If two are missing what size are they and how warn is your home? Both and affest any problems you could have. Best of Luck.
