Could someone please post some pictures of the inside of a veileds mouth? I saw the ones from the post "mouth rot via a fly", but that just shows the corners. I need to see straight down in. The reason I'm asking is because my female veiled stopped eating for 2 weeks. She is roughly a little over 3 years old. ( I got her at 5 months old) She was going through a shed and I thought she just lost her appatite like usual during a shed. Then I noticed she really hasn't left a good poo in a good while either, it was just small portions of white. So I started giving her warm baths and massaging around the base of the tail like I saw what Brad reccomended in another post. She did then let out a normal crap, but it was small. After two days of warm baths I found her with her head down thowing up a clear mucus about the size of a dime. I decided to take her to a vet although he didn't specalize in herps he said he'd check her out. (he normally wouldn't, but I coached his son in football) We opened up her mouth and found a very small piece of superworm shell that turned brown and was on the roof of her mouth. We got a swab and pulled it out. Her mouth had mucousy saliva in it that we also swabbed out. Well, while we were cleaning out the mouth I saw a fleshy mass that I never recognized before, but can't say for certain if its supposed to be there. Thats why I'd like to see some pictures please. I have an appointment for a herp vet in Pittsburgh, but I couldn't schedule it till Sat. Its over a two hour drive. Right now I have her on Repti-aid to nourish her till the weekend. I'll try and get a picture up when I get home from work.
Thanks in advance for any help.
