Need help with enclosure plants please

Hello all, I'm a new veiled cam owner and have about a million questions!!!!!!!! Most of them have been answered by searching the forums and blogs. I however am still finding that I need some advice on live plants.

I have seen the blog lists of safe plants I can use but I have no idea how to choose. I have never been able to keep a plant alive for very long so I need to use plants that are "Hardy" (not easily killed) but I also want to use plants that my little guy Peepers will prefer eating and having in his home. Any suggestions??

Here is a list of plants I have used with success:
Pothos
Dracaena (tree)
Ficus Alli
Coleus (Very bad climbing plant but very pretty)
Bromeliads
Parlor Palm

Here are some plants that aren't as common that I like:
Rattlesnake Plant (Calathea)
Nepenthes sp. (Pitcher Plant)
Orchids
N. Exaltata (fern)
Aluminum plant
Passion flower (pretty weak vine)
Celosia (needs full sun)

If you're having trouble keeping gen alive try a grow bulb

I use a scheflerra aboricola (umbrella tree) as the main plant for my enclosure. Offers good foilage to hide in, tolerates water well, and grows fairly quickly.
