Need help with some incubating eggs...

So my female panther had laid some eggs, and I had placed them in a closet (doing the closet method) but since it's been pretty cold lately, the temp wasn't going above 68F, so I decided to put them in my incubator to keep the temp at 75F. This was done today in the morning, but went holiday shopping and got back home late. I checked on the incubator and the temp was at 82F. I'm not sure how or what happened, but I'm sure it happend while I was gone, which was roughly around 12 hours. So for atleast 12 hours, the temp was roughly 82F. I'm worried that I just ruined the eggs :( (if they were even fertile to begin with) should I be worried? I took them out of the incubator as soon as I saw the temp. And are now back to 69F.

If the eggs are good the swings in temperature should not hurt them, if they were laid recently. It is after the first few weeks that it is important to keep them a fairly constant temperature. We had Panther eggs mailed to us, when they arrived the temperature in the container had dropped to 40F. The eggs hatched 5 months later and all were healthy. I wouldn't suggest those kinds of extremes, but it gives an example of how tough Panther eggs are.
Good luck, it is fun to watch them hatch and grow.
