I put my cham in my bedroom and the window is facing east.
So, when the sun rise, it shine directly to my room.
I often open my window to let fresh air comes in (not just for my chameleon, this is also for me
)
So, there is no glass barrier.. only mesh that blocks the sunlight.
Here's the thing..
Technically my Chameleon is an indoor pet.
But every morning all the way till 6 pm he always get plenty of sunshine.
I put fluorescent light and basking spot anyway in the enclosure..
But, he tends to ignore it and go straight to the real thing and bask (he turned really dark).
I am currently dusting my crickets and flies with
herptivite MTH, repcal with D3 TF, and Miner-all WSat
Repcal and Miner-All has calcium in it.
Will I be putting my baby with too much D3? After all he bask in real sunlight.
here's the photo..
The cloth infront of the cage is a polyester shower curtain to block his view
from high traffic hall and TV -which i only turn on during the day.
and another question:
Can you guys tell me, what are the colors that v chameleon displays under
certain emotions?
I only know black and pale green for stress.
