Need opinion on sunlight and colors of chameleon

I put my cham in my bedroom and the window is facing east.
So, when the sun rise, it shine directly to my room.
I often open my window to let fresh air comes in (not just for my chameleon, this is also for me :D)
So, there is no glass barrier.. only mesh that blocks the sunlight.

Here's the thing..
Technically my Chameleon is an indoor pet.
But every morning all the way till 6 pm he always get plenty of sunshine.
I put fluorescent light and basking spot anyway in the enclosure..
But, he tends to ignore it and go straight to the real thing and bask (he turned really dark).

I am currently dusting my crickets and flies with
herptivite MTH, repcal with D3 TF, and Miner-all WSat
Repcal and Miner-All has calcium in it.

Will I be putting my baby with too much D3? After all he bask in real sunlight.

here's the photo..
The cloth infront of the cage is a polyester shower curtain to block his view
from high traffic hall and TV -which i only turn on during the day.

and another question:
Can you guys tell me, what are the colors that v chameleon displays under
certain emotions?
I only know black and pale green for stress.

yeah I think you're right, maybe ease up on the d3 supplements, if he was only getting uvb light then throw in some powder d3 from time to time, but as long as he's getting real sunlight + fluorescent uvb light, I don't think there is a need for the d3 powder

I don't know necessary it is to have his view blocked from the TV and people. ymmv
covering the enclosure will raise the heat a bit
so just be aware of that... otherwise all of this seems to be fine
sunlight is always going to be the cats meow for these guys.

the curtain is quite thin and it's cloth (not vinyl)
so, air flow is still ok.
for now the temp tends to drop pretty low.. around 75
basking is 85 (when it's too cold, i lower the lamp to reach 100 degree)

When the TV is on, he tend to stare at it and still like statue for hours and hours...
whatever that behavior is, it's not good at all.
so i have to cover his sight from the TV.

The Chameleon will go for the window,Not a great deal you can do about that
There is nothing that beats real sun and the chameleon knows this only too well:)
I would ease up on the d3 and plant the cage up thickly, keep an eye on him, stress is a killer.
If he is constantly climbing the walls the low level stress from seeing the window maybe to much for him,i would rethink the caging positon

Seems like he's freaked out about the TV
I've had mine watch the tube every now and then
without any concerns until they got on top of the remote control
and changed the channels.

everything else seems fine.
