Never Fires Up?

Hey guys I was curious to see if any of you guys have had any panther chameleons that have never fired up....or how long has it taken before yours has fired up...one of my males doesn't ever fire up but he is only about 8 or 9 months of age...any insight is appreciated

I have the same issue..... Mine is 10 months old and only gets some red on his chin.... Putting him in front of a mirror does nothing.... Waiting to see responses of this is normal....

my cham thor (rip) never fired up at all unless he was sunning he would just puff up. Mirrors did nothing to him and he just found it interesting. I think that he was just some how able to understand that it wasnt another chameleon, but that it was his reflection. I never did have the chance to see if he would with another male so idk if thats a true statement =)

My guy won't fire up at the mirror or another cham but maybe with some more age he will

Hey Rickky,
My Chams usually fire up when I walk outside with them . I will hold them in my hand and point them towards the sun, they love it and pop some nice colors. Natural sunlight does amazing things. This works for mine?
