I know this isn't a chameleon question but I need some help in have 2 veiled chameleons and a Gold dusted day gecko but I'm going to make a new addition soon but I really want a reptile I can handle a lot that isn't a bearded dragon or a Leopard gecko

Thank you for taking the time to read this any response or help would be great -Garrett

Idk if you would want a different species of gecko or something totally different. But I have created geckos and I love them to death. My female loves to be handled and hang out with me.

Varanus Acanthurus... I have mine for 12 and 7 years now and they are sweet and active animals (when not hungry) and don't mind to be handled at all...
If you have room a Varanus Exanthematicus is also very nice to have and tend to be very tame.
Blue-tongued skinks are good for handling too I've been told.
Or a Green Iguana... but you'll need to have alot of room for it... I know I loved mine and I still miss him and he's dead for like 5 years...:(

I'd agree...Ackies are nice. Smart and responsive and no fragile tail to worry about breaking. Blue tongue skinks more laid back. I've also heard that fire skinks can be pretty mellow too, plus beautiful. Tiger salamanders are pretty personable I've read. Maybe not handled as much as a skink as their skin is a bit more delicate and permeable, but they learn to know their keepers, are not overly shy, large enough to handle, and will come to you for treats. They won't be as likely to jump off you as a crested gecko either.
